Privacy Policy
Quick Check Writer · Last updated October 27, 2026
In short: everything you enter to write checks (companies, bank details, payees, checks, signatures) is stored only on your own device. We never receive it. To sign in, we keep only what you sign in with (your name and email, or your phone number) through Firebase Authentication. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Payments are handled by Google Play or Stripe, not by us.
Who we are
Quick Check Writer is a check-writing and check-printing app published by 297 HART LLC ("we", "us"). This policy covers the Quick Check Writer Android app and the web app at quickcheckwriter.com.
Your account (sign-in)
You sign in with Google, with an email address and password, or with your mobile phone number and a text-message code. Sign-in is provided by Google Firebase Authentication. Firebase stores your account identifier and the details of the sign-in method you chose: your name, email address and profile photo link when you use Google, your email address when you use email (your password is stored only as a secure hash by Firebase), or your phone number when you use phone. Phone sign-in uses Google reCAPTCHA to prevent abuse. Firebase processes this under Google's privacy terms.
We use your account only to sign you in, to keep your checks separate from other people who use the same device, and to connect your subscription to you. We never sell or share it.
Your check data stays on your device
Company names and addresses, bank names, routing and account numbers, check numbers, payees, amounts, memos, logos and signatures are saved only in the app's storage on your device, in a separate space for each signed-in account. They are never uploaded to us or to Firebase, and we cannot see or recover them. Each device keeps its own copy; use Setup → Export backup to move your data.
To count your one free check, the app saves a small "free check used" marker for your account on this device.
Subscriptions and payments
- In the Android app, subscriptions are bought and managed through Google Play. Google processes the payment; we receive only the purchase record (which plan, and whether it is active), never your card details.
- On the website, subscriptions are paid on a secure Stripe checkout page. Stripe processes your card under its own privacy policy. We receive your email address, the plan, its status and your Quick Check Writer account identifier, so your plan works when you sign in.
- You can cancel anytime: in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions), or on the website from Plans → "Manage or cancel subscription" or the link in your Stripe receipt.
Like any website, our hosting provider may process standard technical information such as your IP address to deliver the app's files. It is not combined with anything you enter in the app.
Printing, backups and sharing
- Printing uses your device's built-in print system and goes only to the printer you choose.
- Backups and shared PDFs are files you choose to create. Where you keep or send them is up to you; they contain your bank details, so store them safely.
Deleting your account and data
In the app, open the account menu (your initial, top right) and choose Delete account. This deletes your sign-in from Firebase and erases that account's data on this device. You can also use Setup → Erase all data on this device, or clear the app's storage. Cancel any subscription first. To have your payment records removed, email us.
Children
Quick Check Writer is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13.
Security
Your check data stays under your control on your device. Protect your device with a screen lock and keep backup files private.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
